When GHA reached its tenth birthday, in 1998, it was with pride and delight that I decided to bring together on one album ten of the guitarists whose talent had brought the label such success. For several reasons it was not possible to issue this Very Special Album in our tenth birthday year, but eleven years is an even much better reason for celebrating !
The tracks are deliberately quite varied. This is because the contrast of styles, nationalities and musical personalities mirrors the image of a catalogue dedicated to the guitar in its widest expression.

The whole CD is a sort of guitar party to celebrate an anniversary of a remarkable record company. Not one of their stable of guitarists is unworthy of a place in this modern and very personal pantheon. An enjoyable CD that will be much played for its variety no less than its musical achievements.
